Hi everyone, it’s Kae! If you didn’t see the instagram post, I’m working in The Imaginarium for a week due to work experience. I wanted to ask you all about your current reading lists. For me it would have to be:

• As Good as Dead by Holly Jackson

This book is the third in a trilogy, the first being called A Good Girls Guide to Murder, where a girl named Pip digs deeper into a 5 year old murder case that was solved. But something feels wrong…

• Feast While You Can by Mikaella Clements and Onjuli Datta

A queer and monster horror novel about a lesbian possesed by an ancient monster that feeds on the troubles of life, but she enjoys the mess.

• The Odyssey by Homer

A classic Greek myth about a man desperate to get home after fighting in the Trojan War, willing to do anything to get back to Ithaca.

• Glasgow Boys by Margaret McDonald

Finlay is struggling with university, with no support system and struggling to find a paid job. He meets Banjo, who is struggling with his foster family. Will they let the past go?

And I’m currently reading Old Wounds by Logan Ashley-Kisner

This is about two trans teenagers, Erin and Max, who are finding their way to California to try and transition and escape their families and past lives. But they break down along the way and end up stranded, with the tales of a woman hunting myth swirling Erins’ mind when she hears odd noises in the neighbouring trees.
