Books You Might Have Missed…
Here at The Imaginarium we have a range of books, that range is constantly changing as books come and go, new books are published and customers come back with some amazing recommendations. Here are some new books we’ve added recently and a few books that might not have caught your eye:

The Doll’s House Review

Jayde’s Favourite Reads So Far This Year!

My Experience Working at The Imaginarium

The Skull book review
Award- winning picture book creator Jon Klassen created this spooky retelling of a traditional Tyrolean folktale. The book begins with immediate action as the main character, Otilla, runs away through the forest. We never find out what she is running away from but it is clear that she is determined to get as far away as possible.

Must Read Gothic Books
I’ve recently found a new love for books with gothic atmosphere in a whole range of genres and unfortunately it seems like there aren’t too many books in that area but I’ve been fortunate to find a few great gems in the ones that I have read.

Book Review: Lessons In Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus has been extremely popular recently. Quite a few customers have come in and raved about this book and usually when a book is constantly talked about and hyped up, it tends to put me off reading it but I couldn’t resist picking it up.

Underrated Books
A lot of books these days, if they are well received, get thrown all over social media such as TikTok, YouTube and Instagram and because of the hype that pushes these books to the forefront of everyone’s eyes and sometimes they just aren’t as good as you expect. So here are some books that may have gone under your radar.

Why We Read
There are many reasons why someone might choose to pick up a book. During my time working at The Imaginarium I’ve had a lot of wonderful conversations with customers and discovered a variety of reasons why someone chooses to read.
