This was my first 5 star read of the year and it deserves every single star. It’s one of those books that I’m kicking myself for not reading sooner but also glad I waited because I can dive straight into the second and final book of the Letters of Enchantment duology and after the ending we got, I will not be okay until I find out what happens next.

Throne of the Fallen is the first standalone book in the new Princes of Sin series set in the same universe as the Kingdom of the Wicked Trilogy. This book focuses on the Prince of Envy and woman called Camilla. Together, Envy and Camilla must embark on a perilous journey through the Underworld—from glittering demon courts to the sultry vampire realm and beyond—while trying to avoid the most dangerous trap of all: falling in love.

Welcome to the Series Spotlight, here we’ll be showcasing a specific series each month, telling you about the book, the author and whether or not you need to pick this series up if you haven’t already. For January, in lue with the release of the third book we’ll be showcasing the Cresecent City series by Sarah J Maas.

It’s a new year which means new books and there are definitely some highly intriguing ones coming out that we at The Imaginarium are looking forward to reading.

We’re nearing to the end of 2023, how time has flown. Now it’s time to have a look at the books I’ve read and pick out the ones that I have absolutely adored (as you can see I am terrible at narrowing down my favourites so you have most if not all my favourites). I’m going to combine series I’ve read otherwise this will be an extremely long post. And if you didn’t know already most of these are fantasy reads, with a dash of other genres mixed in.

The season for wrapping up warm when you go out and curling up with lots of blankets and hot drinks is here and so are we with some highly recommended books that are perfect for reading during the cold season. Ranging from folklore fantasy and ice cold zombies to ice rink romance, I’m sure there will be something here for you.

For anyone who doesn’t know TBR is a bookish term, an abbreviation for To Be Read and TBR stress is a very real thing. As someone who doesn’t have a lot of self control, I usually have a decent sized stack of books that I need to read.

The Hurricane Wars is the first book in a new romantasy trilogy and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and while it wasn’t a Fourth Wing level of love, it was a solid 4 out of 5 stars for me.

For the first time, the Imaginarium Team are bringing you a a team review. Of course the book is a fantasy. You can’t expect anything less from two fantasy addicts, it is however a slightly different fantasy than you might expect. First of all, there are no dragons, hobbits, fae or anything of the sort. There are however, pirates, secret societies, flying houses and witty, Victorian banter with some Austen/Bronte references.

I have never given a series a full 5 star rating for every book…until now. The Nevernight Chronicle by Jay Kristoff has become the first series I have ever read that has had a 5 star rating for all three books in the series. But it’s finally happened.
